Walter grew up in NYC. After getting a BFA from the Pratt Institute, he went on to illustrate and create fine art in NY. For twelve years he did the illustration on the back on the Village Voice in the classified ad section, as well as editorial illustrations for the NYTimes, Ms. Magazine Playboy, Screw and many other publications.

This is all current work both 3D vignettes and assemblages on cardboard.
